With more than 14 years of experience in the field of early childhood education, I have had the opportunity to work with teachers from across the country. Over and over, I have noticed that while the importance of individualizing for the strengths and needs of children is talked about at most professional development workshops, there is often little in the way of developing the educators themselves in individualized ways. 

At Enlightening Educators, we believe that, just like with our students, this ability to focus on the individual strengths and needs of each teacher is a vital part of any professional development plan. Coaching is an ideal way to accomplish this goal, but often schools do not have the funds to hire a full time instructional coach. If they do, the case load often leaves little time for in-depth goal setting and reflection. To answer this call to be as responsive to our teachers as we are to children, Enlightening Educators offers many tiers of educational consulting, as well as in-person and distance options.
